US National Slavery Museum

This Museum was designed to fulfill its mission of revitalizing and interpreting more completely the human drama and toll of slavery in America. The goal was to demonstrate the contributions of the descendants of African slaves to the development of the unique American character while educating some, and re-educating others, by the presentation of slavery in a larger, more balanced economic and political context
