PEI Architects announces the promotion of Leo Li from Associate to Senior Associate. Didi Pei, Partner of PEI Architects noted “Leo has been instrumental in managing and facilitating communication on several of our China projects. He has excelled and his contributions are to be commended.”
As a design architect, Leo has contributed to some of PEI Architects’ recent projects including participating in the Sany Beijing Global Headquarters in Beijing, China to achieve 1st place in this International Competition as well as the Sany Sanxiang Bank Headquarters in Changsha, China. Some other notable projects include the Zhengzhou Zhenghong Art Gallery in Zhengzhou, China; the Guangzhou Yongqingfang Substation in Guangzhou, China, the popular Guangzhou Expo Pedestrian Bridge, in Guangzhou, China; the Hainan Dongfang Coast Zone Urban Design International Competition in Dongfang, Hainan, China; the Lanxi High- Speed Rail Station in Lanxi, Zhejiang, China; the Xiong’An New District Competition in Xiong’An, China; Nanhai Cultural Center Complex in Foshan, China and the award winning Château Lynch-Bages Winery Complex in Pauillac, France.
Leo Li has worked for many internationally renowned firms including Pei Cobb & Freed, SOM, and UNStudio. He has participated and managed a number of design projects in China, the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. He is a certified specialist of the US Green Building Council and an associate member of the American Institute of Architects.
