Sandi Pei Speaks at the Launch of "I. M. Pei: Life Is Architecture" Exhibit

At the unveiling of the new exhibition at M+, “I. M. Pei: Life Is Architecture,” Architect Li Chung (Sandi) Pei, son of I. M. Pei and partner and founder of PEI Architects, shared his insights and experiences of working with his father. He illustrated how these collaborations have influenced his own practice.

The exhibition offers an in-depth look at I.M. Pei’s illustrious career through a rich collection of drawings, sketches, videos, models, photographs, and other archival materials, many of which are being displayed for the first time. “Architecture is Life” will be on view in Hong Kong from June 29, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
