Richard Tsui, LEED AP, holds a Master of Architecture degree from Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL). As an undergraduate pursuing his bachelor’s degree from Lanzhou University of Technology, Richard attended UCL to complete his architectural research on Architectural Functionality.
Shortly after receiving his master’s degree, Richard joined the Architectural Design & Research Institute of Tsinghua University as an architect. As a leading architectural design institute, Tsinghua University offered Richard opportunities to participate on multiple cultural and educational projects. Some of the more notable ones include the Dongting Lake Museum, the National Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai, the Cultural Exhibition of Jinzhong, and the Shandong Agricultural University to name a few.
Richard also has experience in working with smart city platforms. He coordinated with Luoyang City, China’s ancient capital city, to develop a smart city system. This system is one of China’s earliest digital urban design platforms.
Richard joined PEI Architects (PEI) in 2019 as PEI’s China representative.
