Gina Bedoya is responsible for directing the strategic business development and marketing efforts at PEI Architects. She oversees the communication efforts and is involved with firm management and strategic planning.
Ms. Bedoya is a Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and a Past President of the New York SMPS chapter. She served as Chair of the New Fellows Committee as well as Chair of the selection committee for the Chapter President Award. In addition, Gina served as past chair of the SMPS National Education Committee, where she contributed to redefining the Body of Knowledge in marketing professional services for the design and construction industry.
Gina Bedoya contributed articles on marketing and business management to various industry publications and has been a speaker and a participant on diverse seminar panels. For the 2009 “Marketing Handbook for the Design & Construction Professional” (published by SMPS), she authored the chapter on “Developing and Implementing an Effective Marketing Program.” Ms. Bedoya also founded the AEC Business Academy which provides a platform for industry experts to present topics that are currently challenging the AEC community.
She has completed graduate course work in Urban and Environmental Planning and holds a B.A. in Urban Studies from Rutgers University.
