Chateau Lynch-Bages Winery Featured in Barron's

The newly designed facility by Chien Chung (Didi) Pei, co-founder of PEI Architects, is raising the wineries notability as is featured in the recent article “Chateau Lynch-Bages Celebrates New Winery in Sotheby’s London Sale”, published by Barron’s Online. The wine produced by the winery will be auctioned through Sotheby’s with the intent “to sell through the different eras of Lynch-Bages and to talk about the history of the property,” states Jean-Charles Cazes director of the chateau. Mr. Cazes goes on to say “The winning bidder and their guest will be able to see the old Skawinski cellar when they visit, as (Didi) Pei incorporated it into the new design. It was a deliberate move to honor the original spirit of the pioneers at Lynch-Bages while creating a modern winery where a beautiful design could serve specific functions.” For the full story, you can read more here.
