Construction at 2221 Yonge Street, Toronto is nearing the end. The tower shape, broad and expansive on the north and south sides for better views, but slender and elegant on the east and west for a slimmer presence on the street, is capped by a sculptural sloped metal roof that is distinct in the Yonge-Eglinton skyline. The Urban Toronto News reported “Within the cluster of tall towers surrounding Yonge and Eglinton, the new 2221 Yonge Condos tower can just be made out rising several levels above Yonge”.
