In a continuing effort to help revitalize Portland’s Old Chinatown area, the Lan Su Garden is developing a cultural and heritage center together with a hotel adjacent to the gardens on the current site of the Northwest Gas Company parking lot.
The vision for the cultural center is to provide visitors with a holistic look at Chinese culture. The center will boast an Art Gallery, Theater, Library, Atrium, gift shop and administrative offices. The 26-floor hotel will include a banquet hall, restaurants, spa and fitness facilities. PEI Architects is honored to have been selected to design this monumental project.
