On October 12, 2019 Chien Chung Pei and Toh Tsun Lim attended the opening day ceremony of the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The Islamic Collections Gallery was founded by His Majesty, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah as a means of promoting Islamic knowledge and heritage globally. It is conceived as both a museum for his personal collection of artifacts, manuscripts and Korans and the research center is a major repository for the collection and dissemination of scholarly Islamic work.
